Treasure in Jars of Clay

Words. Language. Writing. They are my passion. They constitute the bridge that links my inner self to the rest of the world. They form the window through which the world steals a glimpse of my true self. Every word, every phrase, and every sentence materialise and immortalise the deepest thought of my mind and the inner most feeling of my heart, which would have otherwise faded away with the tide of time.

Love. Grace. Mercy. They are my mission. They persuaded the Maker of all things to trade the splendours of Heaven for the hay of a manger. They coaxed the King of Heaven to exchange a Crown of Glory for a crown of thorns. They saved me from eternal condemnation, and to them I owe my eternal life. This is the message that I am called to bear.

Where Passion and Mission Meet
Wycliffe Bible Translators is devoted to Bible translation and literacy work around the world. Wycliife's vision is to have God's Word accessible to all people in the language of their heart (http://www.wycliffe.org/). This summer from June 7 to August 15, I have the wonderful opportunity to be a part of what Wycliffe is doing to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ. I will be participating in the Orlando Summer Internship, serving as a writer intern for the Integrated Marketing Department of Wycliffe Bible Translators in Orlando, Florida.

I do not have much, but what I do have is this treasure in jars of clay. I trust that the Master Crafter is able to use this treasure for His glory, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in my body.
